Pokie Providers PNG Players Love: JILI, PG Soft, Pragmatic and More

Which pokie software providers do PNG players pick most? Our real-play top 20 on WinKina, from JILI and 918Kaya to Pragmatic Play and PG Soft.

Why the studio behind a pokie matters

Ever noticed that some pokies just feel right to you, and others don't? A lot of that comes down to the studio that made them. These studios are called pokie providers, or pokie software providers, and each one has its own style. Some love fast three-reel games. Some build huge bonus rounds. Some make every game for phones first.

Here at WinKina we wanted to answer a simple question for you: which providers do PNG players really choose when they play with their own Kina? So we looked at our real-play ranking and turned it into this guide. If you came here looking for JILI PNG, Pragmatic Play PNG or PG Soft PNG, you are in the right place.

For each studio you get a short, friendly explanation, a link to its lobby, and a few of its games you can open straight away. Have a read, then go and find your favourite.

Our top 10 pokie providers at a glance

This is the order PNG players chose on our sites between May and October 2026, ranked by real-money play. We share ranks only, never the numbers behind them.

  1. JILI (two lobbies of JILI games, together on top) - JILI lobby
  2. 918Kaya - 918Kaya lobby
  3. Mega888 - Mega888 lobby
  4. 2J Games - 2J lobby
  5. MTG - MTG lobby
  6. Joker - Joker lobby
  7. Pragmatic Play - Pragmatic Play lobby
  8. KingKong688 - KingKong688 lobby
  9. FastSpin - FastSpin lobby
  10. UU Slots - UU Slots lobby

Remember, this is a popularity list, not a payout list. A studio near the top is there because lots of you enjoy its games. It does not mean its pokies pay more, and no studio can make a spin less random.

Look at number 10 for a second. UU Slots only went live in September 2026, yet it is already ahead of names that have been here since May. Older studios had months longer to build their place, so when a newcomer climbs this fast, it usually means players found a game they really like. Keep an eye on the newer lobbies, because this list will keep moving as more of you try them.

Also worth knowing: this list is about the studios in our Slots lobbies. Live dealer tables have their own home in Live Casino, and matches are in Sportsbook, so you will not see those here. If you enjoy both, that is fine, just keep one budget for the whole night.

JILI PNG: why it sits at number one

We are not surprised JILI is on top. Walk past any group of players in Port Moresby on a Friday night and someone will be spinning a JILI game. The studio keeps things simple: clear symbols, quick spins, low starting bets, and a bonus you can understand the first time you see it.

Our favourite place to start is Super Ace. Card symbols can turn golden and then change into wilds, and the free spins come with a multiplier that keeps climbing. If you already know it, jump to Super Ace Joker for a fresh twist. For something even shorter, Crazy777 gives you old-school sevens on three reels with a bonus wheel.

JILI also does gold and money themes really well. Golden Empire takes you to a jungle temple full of gold, and Money Coming is about as simple as a pokie gets. If you like what you see, our top 20 pokies list has more JILI hits, because several of them are in it.

One more thing we love about JILI: it keeps making sequels. When a game does well, a new version follows with the same base idea and one new feature on top, like Fortune Gems 3 after the first two Fortune Gems games. So if you find a JILI game you enjoy, check the lobby for its brothers and sisters. Just read the rules each time, because a sequel can pay in a different way to the game you know.

JILI games also load quickly and the buttons are big, which helps when your signal drops in and out. Spin, check your balance, spin again. No fuss.

Grew up on 918Kiss? Meet 918Kaya and Mega888

Lots of you first played pokies through 918Kiss and Mega888 style games, and you have stayed loyal. 918Kiss is the old name you remember, and it has no lobby open with us right now, but its classic style is alive in 918Kaya, Mega888, EVO888 and SCR888. That is why 918Kaya is second and Mega888 is third on our list. These are the classics: five reels, steady line wins and free games rounds that feel familiar.

Two of the most played games on the whole site come from this family: Dolphin Reef and Panther Moon. If you love the sea, add Crystal Waters from 918Kaya. If you like Asian lucky themes, Golden Lotus is a calm, pretty one.

Over on Mega888, Dragon Strike gives you a Chinese dragon frame and Lucky Koi has koi fish and lotus flowers. We wrote a whole 918Kaya and Mega888 guide if you want to go deeper.

Tip from us: classic games often let you choose how many lines to play. Fewer lines makes each spin cheaper but gives fewer ways to win. Check it before you press spin.

2J Games, MTG and Joker: the strong middle

2J Games sits fourth. It loves lucky symbols and big golden bonus screens. Many of you start with God of Wealth, then move on to Cleopatra's Flame for an Egypt theme. Fortune Dragon is a good pick if dragons are your thing.

MTG is fifth. MTG likes to take a classic idea and give it a shiny gold remake. Ice Land Gold puts polar bears on the reels, and Mega Caishen brings the God of Wealth. Want something stormy? Twister Gold is all tornado and gold.

Joker rounds out this group in sixth. Its lobby is full of variety, from Romans to mahjong to fish hunting. Mayan Gems and Mahjong King are two easy first picks.

How do these three feel next to each other? 2J Games is loud and colourful, with lots of coins flying around when you win. MTG is a bit calmer and polished, perfect if you liked the old classics but want them to look newer. Joker is the lucky dip: every game is a bit different, so it is fun to explore when you are bored of your usual pokie. Their lobbies are 2J, MTG and Joker.

Pragmatic Play PNG: big features, big swings

Pragmatic Play is one of the best known pokie providers on the planet, and here in PNG it is the top international name on our list at number seven. If you have seen pokie clips online, there is a good chance they were Pragmatic Play games.

What makes them different? Most of their famous games use tumbling reels, so winning symbols vanish and new ones fall into place, and many pay for matching symbols anywhere on the screen. Lots of them also have a bonus buy button. We explain both ideas in our Megaways and bonus buy guide.

Our picks for you: Starlight Princess, an anime-style game with random multipliers, Sugar Rush, where cluster wins mark spots on the grid, and Gates of Olympus, still the one most people ask about.

A friendly warning: Pragmatic Play games tend to be high volatility. You can go a while without much, then hit a big moment, or not. Use small bets like K0.20 or K0.40 and set a spin limit so the game does not eat your whole balance.

Pragmatic Play also loves a series. Big Bass Bonanza has a whole family of fishing games, and you will even find a festive one, Christmas Big Bass Bonanza, ready for December. The Pragmatic Play lobby is a big one, so use the search box if you are after a particular title.

PG Soft PNG: made for your phone

PG Soft is the studio for people who play everything on their phone, which is most of you. Many of its games are built for an upright screen, so you can play one-handed on the PMV ride home. The art is detailed and every win has a little animation.

The headline game is Mahjong Ways. Mahjong tiles cascade, and each new win in a chain pushes the multiplier higher. Wild Bounty Showdown is a Wild West shoot-out, and Caishen Wins is a bright lion dance game. Find them all in the PG Soft lobby.

PG Soft sits 13th for real play, but its fans are loyal. If you mostly play on mobile data, start here.

Other providers worth a spin

KingKong688 (8th) has fire, myth and fruit games; try Fire Master Hold And Win. FastSpin (9th) makes short, light pokies like Spin and Win. UU Slots (10th) only arrived in September 2026 and jumped straight into our top 10, mostly thanks to Mahjong Wilds and Dolphin Reef: Super Bonus.

Fa Chai (12th) is known for buffalo and lucky cat games, like Crazy Buffalo. Lobby: Fa Chai. JDB (14th) has myth and fishing games such as Ragnarok Thor vs Loki in the JDB lobby. Spadegaming (15th) brings tidy Asian fortune games like Fa Fa Fa 2; see the Spadegaming lobby.

Then come 5G Games (16th), EVO888 (17th), NextSpin (18th), Ninja (19th) and Hacksaw Gaming (20th). Hacksaw is known for very high volatility and modern art; Beast Below is a deep-sea example. EVO888 carries games like Gates of Olympus 1000. For the newest studios, read our new pokies 2026 guide.

Past the top 20 there is still plenty to find: CQ9, King Midas, CrowdPlay, BWG, EpicWin, SCR888, Fuma and VA Gaming all have their own lobbies inside Slots. A quick favourite of ours is Lucky Piggy from BWG. And Spribe, number 30 on our pokie list, is the studio behind Aviator, which lives in the Crash section if you fancy a break from reels.

What really changes between pokie software providers

Every studio decides four things for each game: the look, the features, the RTP and the volatility. The look is easy to see. The features are in the paytable. RTP (return to player) tells you how much of every K100 bet on a game, in total and over a huge number of spins, finds its way back to players. Volatility tells you how wins are spread out: low volatility means smaller wins more often, high volatility means longer gaps and bigger swings.

None of these can be beaten. RTP is worked out over millions of spins, so your next 30 minutes can be very different. Our how pokies work guide explains this in more detail, and the high RTP pokies guide shows how to read a game's info screen.

So when you choose a provider, choose a style you enjoy, not one you think will pay. That way you get the most fun out of every Kina.

You will also notice studios have favourite features. Asian studios often use hold and win rounds, where coins lock in place and you get a few respins to fill the screen. European studios such as Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw lean on multipliers and tumbling reels. Some games use Megaways, where the number of symbols on each reel changes every spin. None of these features is better or worse. They just feel different, and you will soon know which ones make you smile.

Try a new provider without blowing your budget

Here is how we suggest testing a studio you have never played before:

  1. Top up only what you planned to spend. Deposits start from K10, so a small test is easy.
  2. Open the provider's lobby and pick one of its most played games from this guide.
  3. Set the lowest bet the game allows.
  4. Play a fixed number of spins, say 30, and then stop and think: did you enjoy it?
  5. If yes, try another game from the same studio. If no, move to a different provider.
  6. Write down the studios you like so you can find them fast next time.

Keep it fun

We want WinKina to stay fun for you. Pokies are random, and no studio, game or pattern can change that. Decide your limit before you start, take a break every so often, and walk away when your budget is done. Do not use money meant for family, rent or school fees.

You must be 18 or older to play. Our play safe guide has simple tools and tips, and our Live Chat team is online 24/7 if you need a hand.
