Gates of Olympus in PNG: Zeus, Tumbles and Kina Spins

Gates of Olympus at WinKina: learn the Zeus multipliers, tumbles and scatter pays, pick a safe Kina bet, and choose between the two versions we carry.

Meet Zeus: what Gates of Olympus is about

Picture an old god on a cloud, hand full of lightning. That is the star of Gates of Olympus, a Pragmatic Play slot that players all over the world know by name. Each time Zeus strikes, a multiplier can land on the grid and boost what you win.

You play on six reels with five rows each. Forget paylines here. The game pays by "scatter pays", so what counts is how many of one symbol show on screen at the same time, not where they sit. Keep an eye on the crowns, rings, chalices and coloured gems.

Be ready for ups and downs. Plenty of spins return small amounts or nothing. Then one chain of tumbles with a few multipliers can turn the spin around. That mix of calm and thunder is why it stays so popular.

Your first spin, step by step

  1. Open WinKina in your phone’s browser and log in. New here? Make your account first, it takes a minute.
  2. Add Kina from K10 using BSP, Kina Bank, NBC, CellMoni or MoniPay.
  3. Go to Slots, tap Pragmatic Play, then type "Gates of Olympus" in the search box.
  4. Use the plus and minus buttons to pick your bet. Your total stake in Kina sits below the reels.
  5. Press Spin and wait. Let every tumble play out so you can see the multipliers count up.

How the features fit together

Pay anywhere. Land eight or more of one symbol, in any spot on the grid, and you have a win. The bigger the group, the bigger the pay.

Tumbling symbols. Winning pieces disappear and fresh ones drop down from the top. If the new ones make another win, that pays too, and it keeps going until nothing else matches.

Zeus’s multiplier orbs. In any spin, Zeus may drop orbs carrying a multiplier. Once the tumbles stop, every orb value on screen is added up and the spin’s total win is multiplied by that sum.

Free spins. Get four or more Zeus scatters to open the bonus round. Here, each orb that lands joins a growing total, and that total boosts the wins that come after it. More scatters in the round give you extra spins.

Some markets also show an Ante Bet. It makes each spin cost more in return for a better shot at scatters. Tap the info (i) button in the game for the real paytable, orb values and RTP of the version in front of you.

Making a small balance last

Big swings are fun when your bet fits your wallet. Bet too high and a short balance can vanish before Zeus wakes up.

A simple rule: plan for 150 to 200 spins per session. If you bring K50, a bet near K0.25 gets you there. That gives the grid enough time to show its tricks.

On a tight budget, leave the Buy Feature and Ante Bet alone. Both push the price of a spin or a bonus way up. Our low-bet pokies guide explains why small, steady bets work better.

Two versions in the WinKina lobby

WinKina carries Gates of Olympus twice. The Pragmatic Play lobby has the original game this page describes. The J2 lobby has a version made by 2J Games under the same name. That one can look and behave a little differently, so read its info screen before your first bet.

Love falling symbols and multipliers? Starlight Princess plays in a very similar way, and Sweet Bonanza brings the same pay-anywhere idea with sweets.

Does it work on a phone?
